The Company

jeff stillwell 012Jeff Stillwell, founder and creative force behind STILLWELL EVENTS, has enjoyed a 20+ year history of flawlessly executed events and is highly respected in the industry for his attention to detail, superb and inventive event style and design, and his hands-on approach… all with a little Southern charm thrown in.

Jeff started his career at the original Russian Tea Room, known for the celebrity clientele that frequented there. He continued building his expertise and training his eye for excellence while producing high end corporate and charity events, as well as adding weddings to his portfolio, when he moved to Windows on the World – the space on top of the former 1 World Trade Center. This world-renowned location was known for its unparalleled views and boasted some of the highest quality food in the city. At WoW, Jeff gained a deep understanding of wine from industry expert Kevin Zraly’s seminars and the extensive wine collection.

Following that, Jeff became well-versed in the intricacies of a diverse collection of specialty weddings at Pier 60 and the Lighthouse as the director at these Abigail Kirsch venues. There, he planned and executed not-for-profit and corporate business events as well as weddings – sometimes as many as 7 in one weekend!

Most recently, Jeff served as the director for the reopening at the historic Rainbow Room, the crown jewel atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Since 1934, the Rainbow Room is known for its magical, truly once-in-a-lifetime prestigious weddings and corporate events and is one of the most beautiful rooms in the world – a dream destination for any bride.

STILLWELL EVENTS will customize an event planning package based on your needs; we can accommodate any budget. We offer three distinct, flexible levels of service, making sure your day is perfect – just as you imagined it.

Full-Service Event Planning

We are by your side from the very beginning of the planning process: conceptualizing and bringing to life a single idea and presenting you with vendors and venues to meet your needs. Managing each tiny detail throughout the entire process, up to and including compiling meticulous timelines and coordinating with the entire event team.

A La Carte Service Event Planning

We can help you build your event from scratch or work with what you’ve already chosen to fill in the missing links.  Panicking because you haven’t picked a floral designer and your RSVP’s are coming back? All vendors are chosen and then your photographer backs out at the last minute? We can step in and help with anything – from venue searches to finalizing budgets to developing timelines. After your vendors are secured, STILLWELL EVENTS will be there to oversee their integration.

Month-of Service Event Planning

You have worked hard planning every tiny detail, but it’s extremely important that you relinquish those to a trusted, experienced event professional so that you can actually be a guest at your own wedding, not walking around in your dress with a clipboard in your hand!  We finalize everything – floorplans, vendor meetings and coordination, day-of timelines, load-in, set-up, load-out – serving as your point person and assuring your dream event.
